NyangNyang From Tuapejat

From Muara Siberut, the capital city of Siberut Selatan sub-district, it will take about 1.5 to 2 hours to get to this island for Rp 600.000 to Rp. 800.000. You can also go to Nyang-Nyang from Tuapejat, the capital city of Mentawai district,

in about two hours.

If you take the Siberut way, from the arrival gate or exit gate of Minangkabau international airport, you can take a bus to the port of Muara Padang. From there, you can travel across the Indian Ocean to Siberut Island by motor boat.

Boat schedules from Padang to Siberut are only twice a week, on Monday night (Sumber Rezeki Baru ship) and Thursday night (Simasin ship). This trip will take one night so the ships will return to Padang on Tuesday and Friday nights. Tickets for these ships are sold for Rp 105.000 to Rp. 125.000 each. There is an additional ship operating on the first and second weeks of each month. This Ambu-Ambu ship leaves on Saturday night from Muara Padang and returns from Siberut to Padang on Sunday night.

If you take the Tuapejat way, from Minangkabau international airport, you can take a small plane such as Tiger Air or SMAC to Tuapejat on Sipora Island.
